In 1994, Entrenue began as a small, book distributor focusing on sexual health. What started as a business out of the original owner's home grew into a specialty adult wholesale distributor with sought-after titles and products.

After years working together, the original owners transferred ownership to our CEOwner, Joe Casella, who grew the business to include over 4,000 wholesale adult novelties while holding true to the key principles of the business: enhancing intimate lives.

As the market diversifies, we understand that pricing is of central importance. We strictly enforce MAP and MSRP policies to ensure that the specialty brands we carry are not devalued. This means more profit for you and continued viability for our brands.

What is MAP?

As an exclusive distributor for many brands, we at Entrenue appreciate our partnership and the responsibility we have in maintaining each brand's integrity and reputation. This includes the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) set forth for these brands.

Many of the specialty brands we carry have chosen to adopt MAP Policies over the last few years. Every MAP policy is a little different, but what they all have in common is that MAP pricing does not limit the actual selling price—it simply sets the minimum price a product can be advertised at, whether in print or online. MAP policies are created to stop price undercutting, resulting in stronger margins and less risk for retailers.

Enforcement of MAP

Manufacturers periodically check Retailers' advertised prices of the brands that have a MAP Policy. It is also the practice of Entrenue to verify that retailers are following MAP guidelines when necessary without being prompted by the manufacturer.

When a pricing violation is found, either the adult wholesale distributor or the manufacturer will contact the retailer violating MAP pricing and request they update their advertised prices within a specific period of time (this varies by brand). If multiple violations occur, the manufacturer may request that all distributors stop selling to this retailer.

MAP Restrictions May Include

• No sales on 3rd party websites (Amazon, eBay, etc.)
• No online sales
• "Authorized Dealers" on 3rd party sites where Dealers are chosen by their reputation in honoring other MAP policies
• Restricted sales outside of the Continental US or North America
